About Us:
The Southbound Band was formed about twenty years ago by Bucky
Readmond. The band plays a variety of music including modern and
traditional country with some of that good old rock and roll added.

Bucky Readmond is the lead vocalist for the Band, he
also plays a little rhythm guitar.Bucky's idols are stars
like George Jones,Merle Haggard and Buck Owens. He
resides in Hollywood, Md.

Tony Winter plays drums and does some vocals for the
band. He began playing in 1975 with the Country
Breeze Band. Wade Homes is one of Tony's mentors.

Jim McConnell plays the lead guitar and keyboard for
the band. He counts among his musical influences John

Angelo Sperseno plays the bass guitar,and has played with
many bands over the years. He also does some of the good

Ray Chilton makes that steel sing for the band. He has
played with many band in Maryland and the Washington
D.C. Area. He resides in Brandywine, Md.
